great vibe but noisy mornings
The lobby is stunning and welcoming, creating a great first impression. The bath products used in the room were high quality and really enhanced my stay.
The thin walls allowed me to hear neighbors during their morning routines.

I had a great time at the Ace Hotel in New York. The location is unbeatable. everything is within walking distance. The atmosphere in the lobby feels lively and inviting. The room was stylish and very clean, with an awesome shower that had fantastic pressure. It felt luxurious yet cozy. I loved the fun touches like a Martin guitar in the room and a turntable with albums to enjoy. The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout my stay. However, there were some hiccups. The thermostat in my room malfunctioned, which was inconvenient. Checking in was a bit rocky as my room wasn’t ready when I arrived, despite being past check-in time. I had to wait longer than expected, which was frustrating. On top of that, I noticed some dusty areas behind the bed and oddities like brown water coming from the tap initially—though it cleared up eventually. It’s also worth mentioning that the coffee situation could be better. no machines in the room and I had to head outside for a morning caffeine fix before the coffee bar opened. Overall, the hostel vibe and the friendly staff made up for the inconveniences. I would still consider visiting again and hope for a better room next time.

The location proved to be ideal, with stunning views of a famous landmark right outside my window. I enjoyed delicious artisan bread during breakfast, but the building's age made for a few quirks, like slow elevators and somewhat gritty conditions in certain areas.

The Ace offers a unique vibe with stylish decor and comfortable rooms that really enhance the stay. However, service at the bar could be improved, and room service was a letdown, especially when it was forgotten. Overall, it's a great spot just with a few hiccups.

I absolutely loved that I was just a short walk from the breathtaking Bryant Park and only a 2.5 km stroll from the vibrant High Line, making it super easy to soak in the city vibes even on a quick weekend trip. this hotel offers a unique charm that's perfect for solo travelers like me who enjoy quirky aesthetics and a lively atmosphere, though I did find the noise levels from the street a bit bothersome at times.

The chocolate croissants at the hotel bakery? Absolute legends! I also found some killer bites nearby like The Breslin for its worthy brunches and the heavenly John Dory Oyster Bar just steps away. Plus, the room was like a cozy bunker, comfy and chic, which helped ease the NYC hustle.
Sure, the property screams age, especially in the bathrooms and hallways, but it’s got that vintage charm going on. Just keep in mind the vibe leans toward the well-loved than pristine. Everything felt clean, but let’s say the decor could use a little sparkle.
